Comments: Very unreasonable hike in fees. Please review and adjust. Added with the hike in airlines ticket, and fuel costs for local travel adds to putting us off touring India regularly. Managing the economy wisely and prudently will solve lots of domestic and external problems and hardships. Please do not discourage Tourism.

Comments: I agree with everything that has been written above as part of the petition. Govt. of India should find other means of earning money that are much fairer. We and our children will eventually stop going to India if the Govt. does not care about our welfare and is only concerned about finding new ways of milking the non-resident Indians. I feel strongly about this.

Comments: This increase is just a money making exercise to rip off UK citizens which will eventually = backfire. Specialist operators to India have reacted with dismay to the news, warning that it could have a negative impact on tourism from the UK to India.

Comments: May be Indian Government doesn't want us to visit our own family. When we go to India, we not only meet up with family, we do spend a great amount of money, so the businesses which are booming because of us NRIs, it will all stop.

Comments: Visa Admin. fees should be affordable but not profit making. Some who wants to spend their holidays will go some where else. India will loose out her tourism revenue. India is still a safer destination to many. Do not undermine and make entry unaffordable.
