Comments: I am shocked to learn more than double increase in the visa fees. I travel to India every year, it may time to stop visiting India. Some countries do not charge visa fee at all or have nominal visa fees may be I should spend my hard earned cash there.

Comments: So unbelievable that the government of India can increase the Visa charge to £92 from £42, a hike of £50 which in percentage terms 124 percent, which is going to be difficult for most families who live in UK and have ties in India and travel to India will be out reach for a number of families in the years to come, surely this will be a detrimental effect on India as a whole, surely the decision must have been made for the hike by people who know their job, but must have a little consideration.

Comments: A totally unjustifiable increase which is more of a revenue stream than an adminstrative cost increase. I am sure if the British government was to reciprocrate in a similar manner for Indian nationals visiting Britain it would likewise be totally unacceptable for India. Kindly reconsider your decision and readjust the hike to a more reasonable and realistic level.

Comments: This is rip off. How could Indian High Commission can charge over 100% in increment for visas. india is no wonder corrupted by looting people; increasing prices here and there. India wants poor to be poorer and rich to be richer. Want to use public money to improve India. But India has improved since independent.
