Name: DHIRAJLALA L. POPAT on Jan 21, 2013Comments: India govt. should give subsidy to their overseas embassies like u.k. etc. By increasing visa fees, they deter/put off visitors to visit India. I am at present in Baroda since 3 months. Already we have seen a great fall of Indians from u.k. visiting India .has fallen!!!! This new decision by India Govt. is like a (nail in coffin) more hardship to visitors. regards, Dhiru Popat....U.K.Flag

Name: E. Adatia on Jan 21, 2013Comments: I fully agree with the contents of this petition and I request the Govt. of India to look into this matter, How can Indian government justify an increase of 100% in visa fees?. consider the increase should be no more than 10% or less; This is an unacceptable increase with no justification and will discourage many family's visiting India. On one hand the Indian government is promoting tourism (Incredible India) and on the other is discouraging with high visa fees. Let's all sign the petition and make the Indian government rethink the big increaseFlag
