Comments: this is just ridiculous £92 fees for Indian Visas plus travel costs for submission and collection of visas which is just for 6 months only.

Comments: I agree with Mr. Vinod Popat - the increase in visa fees is a bit over the top considering the large amount of Indians living in U.K. If the need to increase visa fees is necessary then increase to a reasonable amount, for example increase by £10/- more. Hope our comments will be taken into consideration.

Comments: Applying for an Indian visa was more complicated than buying a flat in London! The process is inconvenient if you have to attend an application center who only work strict office hours and the internet application process is far too complicated and does not justify any price increase let alone over 100%.

Comments: As Vinod Popat say's, this price increase will not help British Indian. Infect we will think twice to visit India,if the visa charges are not changed. This increase to me means that Indian Goverment don'nt want Indian to visit their country of origin. My family normally visit at least twice a year. With this increase,we will not be able to visit India and may br forced to chose another destination for holidays. Please Please think again and revert the price back to £42.00. Regards Vinod.

Comments: There should be minimum fees for overseas Indian Residence's. With the family of it would cost me more then £500 for visas. It would be shame on Indian Government to deny our children to visit our motherland. Jai Hind.

Comments: Hike to me is not matter of increase in cost of visa process but more like a typical business strategy where if opportunity exists to make the most profits then explore it, because the applicants can't do much apart from mourn and eventually give in. Hope to see this petition make a difference.

Comments: It is a daylight robbery. The increase in cost cannot be justified. It is penalising visitors who have no other alternative and will do a lot of harm as people will decide twice if they want to make that trip to India.

Comments: What a shame to increase the Indian visa fees for the Indians who have and are investing in India and have played a big role in boosting the Indian economy. The government should think twice and be reasonable enough in this matter. Just to note that as of now due to the increase in flight fares Indians abroad will have to restrict their visits to India which will decrease and stop the Indians spending when in India. Hope the Indian government willl not want a slump in foreign currency reserve when they need a boost to their economy.

Comments: It is extremly unfair! What over 100% increase, how do you justify it? It is just a RIP OFF!! When we vist Inida, we spend a lot of money there, we want OUR children and elderly to feel they have a history, a past! Why do you want to destroy it? Indian Giv should encourage UK and other Countries to vist India - and be proud of OUR CULTURE!!! Not garb, squeeze as much as they an from visitors SHAME ON GOVERMENT - and the High Commision staff do not even do the work in time or properly!!!
