    Comments: I feel the Indian govt has taken a wrong decision by sustantial increase in visa fees. It will cause genuine hardship for people to visit India either as a tourist or to visit family. India will loose tourism in the long run. So I suggest review your decision!

    Comments: My wife and I have made many friends on our holidays to Goa and they expressed their concerns regarding tourism as their livelihoods depended on it. With this increase it will certainly have an effect. We have already booked to travel in April and November. However our visa expires prior to November and we are already making enquiries to change our destination as the unjustified increase is too costly. An Indian workmate wants to take his wife and children back to visit and scatter the ashes of his deceased father. As a direct result of the increase he may be going alone. I feel sorry for his plight. This increase may well price India out of the tourist market.

    Comments: This is nearly a 120% increase. It is very bad indeed as it is a punishment to NRI's who want to visit their forefathers' motherland and bring wealth into the country! The decision needs to be reconsiderred before NRI's decide to curtail and consider holidays elsewhere!
