I am planning to visit In March 2013 and have been recently looking at prices for Hotels one for example..... O decent medium star (say 3*) for example in Mumbai is more expensive than in London itself. PLUS on top of that you already levy heavy taxes on Overseas citizens on lot of things. where as your local India Residents are exempt from these taxes. THIS IS PURELY UNFAIR. ... In long terms this is not beneficial to Overseas tourist. I might as well travel to other parts of the World for my Holidays. - example for In Thailand the Visa fee is minimal (No fee if you travelling for upto 30 days) . Not only that, The hotels & are even cheaper than in India... So Mr Prime Minister think again.....Flag
