With the incidents such as the shooting at Sandy hook elementary in Newtown, Connecticut, the individuals who provide public safety in my opinion are not paid enough to do their job. Police officers continue to provide safety throughout america in every city. I myself wish to become a police officer, but it is very odd that police officers do not get paid enough, some work two jobs just to get by. sign my petition to get increased pay for public safety considered.
