If you are a Saint Mary's College graduate student studying counseling, and you feel that you do not receive enough support from the faculty, please continue reading.

We, the graduate counseling students of Saint Mary's College, believe that there is a lack of support in the graduate counseling program. The Master of Arts in Counseling has six areas of specialization: Career Counseling, College Student Services, General, MFT/LPCC, School Counseling, and School Psychology. Within the last six years, the counseling program has grown from approximately 185 students to 230 students. The faculty growth has not matched the rapid growth of the student body.

Please sign this petition if you feel that you could benefit from receiving additional support in any of the following areas:

• Increased faculty to support the GCP
• More academic advisors for each of the counseling's six areas of specialization
• General staff support for the students
• More faculty support for the Master's Project/Thesis
• More faculty to support field placements
