The Pakistani American Community is seriously concerned about the Govt. of Pakistan neglegence to consider the contribution of hundreds of thousands of Pakistanis who send foregin exchange to Pakistan and always contribute in needs of natural disasters. Instead of creating better communication oppurtunities for overseas Pakistani's in US and elsewhere the rates of Phone calls from US to Pakistan have gone up by almost 8 times. As listed by Vonage below:"The Telecommunications Authority (PTA) and the Ministry of Information Technology (MOIT) in Pakistan have ordered price changes that will increase the cost to complete calls to Pakistan by more than 500 percent, impacting Vonage and other carriers worldwide."

We strongly urge the Pakistani Government and PTA to reverse these pice hike in phone calls to ease up our concern.
