We, the undersigned, call for the immediate resignation of Harold Clarke, Commissioner Massachusetts Dept of Corrections for the following crimes against humanity:
1. Clarke's documented failure while Secretary of Nebraska DOC to ensure adequate medical care for prisoners.
2. Clarke's part in the suspension of Dr. Ahmed as retribution for Ahmed's whistle-blowing testimony to the Nebraska Ombudsman's Office concerning deliberate medical torture of inmates.
3. Clarke's flagrantly biased evaluation of the Suffolk County jail while an evaluator for the ACA just shortly before 7 guards were charged with federal crimes for assaulting and abusing prisoners in addition to the reports of women prisoners of rapes and other forms of sexual abuse by male guards at the jail.
4. Clarke's tacit approval of ongoing and increasingly punitive regulations instituted by MDOC superintendents against inmates and inmates' visitors.
5. the Deaths of inmates during Clarke's reign due to medical abuse & medical neglect as well as abuse by MDOC personnel.

The stuff going on in these prisons is absolutely sickening. how is he still in charge?? he needs to go immediately before more people die under his watch.
