We are delighted to confirm that all restrictions placed on Dr Henry Mannings imposed after an initial Interim Orders Panel (IOP) hearing on the 27th November 2012 have been revoked.
Back in November, an Interim Orders Panel imposed an order on Dr Mannings to restrict him from prescribing any medication.
At the IOP review hearing on Monday 14th January 2013, Dr Mannings, who represented himself, produced additional scientific evidence to the panel to prove the efficacy and safety of his approach in the cases of the two patients in question. He also reiterated the testimonials from eminent specialists which disagreed with and challenged the allegations made. Furthermore, the petition which has garnered approximately 3000 signatories so far (including paper based petitions) was brought to the panel's attention, along with the hundreds of letters of support written from patients and families of patients.

We have some positive news to start off the New Year. Dr Henry Mannings has been granted an early review with the IOP next Monday 14th January 2013 at 10:30am. This means that his case will have another hearing with another panel. The outcomes from this could be that the restrictions are increased in severity, amended to be less severe, or completely revoked.With all the support that has flooded in, we are hoping for the best next week. Since the campaign to reinstate Dr Henry Mannings took
off two weeks ago support from the public and professionals has been flooding
in. Whilst the attempt to overturn the decision through appeal progresses at a
frustratingly slow pace, an army of supporters have been busy collecting
messages of support through online and offline resources.
An online petition is currently attracting around 150
sign ups daily, with messages of support arriving from across the UK and
further afield. These include testimonials from Doctors and other professionals,

recent years, Star Throwers cancer charity, based in Wymondham, near Norwich,
Norfolk has been a retreat for hundreds of patients suffering from many
different types of cancer. The charity was founded in 2009 by Dr Henry Mannings
who served as a GP for 33 years and until recently worked as a Specialist
Doctor of Oncology at the James Paget hospital in Gorleston, near Gt Yarmouth,
Norfolk.

Mannings started Star Throwers having been a practicing professional in
delivering treatment and support to cancer sufferers across Norfolk for many
