The appointment of Imran Khan as PCB Chairman

We strongly believe that the PCB should be and impartial body run by cricketers for the interests of Pakistan cricket both on a domestic and international level. It has become visibly apparent that the ad-hoc mess that is the PCB is incapable of running Pakistan cricket on a day to day basis let alone developing it into an international player. There is experimentation and there is the PCB. Rather than create a solid team the PCB have stumbled from opener to opener, captain to captain and one crisis to another. 11 captains in 7 years, chairmen being forced out by outside interference, coaches being dismissed, ridiculous statements by the current chairman on players personal beliefs ETC. We could all catalogue the mistakes and errors of the PCB but that is a rather destructive exercise. We would like to see wholesale reform of the PCB, starting with the dismissal of that Swiss Toni look-a-like and Musharraf Cronie PCB Chairman Nasim Ashraf. This man is clearly more interested in making headlines than progress. His work so far at the PCB can only be paralleled by his career as a cricketer (I use the term cricketer and career very loosely). The man clearly has no credentials to warrant his appointment other than having Musharrafs number on speed dial. We would also like to see an immediate cessation of state interference in particular from Gen Musharraf, this includes those incredibly lame comments he comes out with to motivate the team. Musharraf should use the appropriate medium to promote his liberal drivel and not Swiss Toni erm sorry I meant the PCB Chairman Ashraf or the PCB. The PCB is not an extension of the Musharraf dictatorship and should not be used as such. To be honest it
