Petition to Honourable President of EU Parliament,

With this letter I hope to attract your attention to some concerned and most preoccupied European Pakistanis about their homeland politics.

My basic issue is to speak up for a democratising Pakistan. The past has shown that the government has been initiating such idealistic views within practice. Seduced by power and greed, corruption was yet the only goal of PML (N), one of the leading parties at that time.

This misshapenness, have run down our image of dealing with promoting forms of government, just because there was no appropriate supervising.

Luckily things have changed and our momentary sovereign parties, MQM inter alia, are providing the nations needs with substance.

Instead of giving the idea of democracy a chance to prosper in future political approaches, Pakistan's extremist parties, like MMA, contaminate European-Muslims attitudes, by spreading fanatic perspectives. Once accepted it can become a self-fulfilling prophecy and acting's based upon such narrow-mindedness mess up not only integration efforts, but see to constraining improvement on the whole.

As quoted by Adil Najam: "However, as soon as you peel away the misconceived nationalism or the misguided religiosity of such proposals what you find lurking in the dark is the very same lack of confidence in the ability of the Pakistani public to be entrusted with their own future. Indeed, the real hubris of such arguments lies in the arrogance of those who make these arguments. One of the curious aspects of this argument is that, nearly always, those who make this argument believe that while the rest of Pakistan is incapable of making reasonable decisions through a democratic process, they themselves are more than qualified to do so for the entirety of the country.

These parties, disdaining western influence, suppress the process of liberating Pakistanis spirit. The basic objective of globalisation should be to enhance productivity, whereas the system functions as an instrument of preparing its citizens to be able to compete in world markets as productive members of society. Yet, our country is a moderate nation giving hope for reframing Pakistan's momentary image. Extremism is upgraded by some parties, but is definitely not what the mass opines. These parties oppose our prospecting notions, while trying to force religious values throughout all institutions. Pro-pious attitude is not to be condemned, but the freedom of choice should be understood.

Due to recent incidences, polluting Pakistan's image, I have the urge to inform you about the extremist Parties in Pakistan like Therike Insaaf, MMA and PML (N). Mr. Imran Khans chairman of Therike Insaaf intrinsic intensions are definitly not within the flow of the demands of modernity. His visions of a functioning system carry values such as the supression of womens rights, noticable within the upbringings of his own daughter. He, himself, was brought up in rural areas of Pakistan, which has obviously left its traces concerning a lack for a deeper understanding of globalization efforts. He favors supporting extremistic acts in Pakistan as can be seen in his non-acting upon red-mosque operations. He also opposes taliban operations in northern Pakistan and is therefore indirectly known as favoring taliban. Generally, all his ideals are locking horns and always at cross-purposes with western societies.

There is one party in Pakistan, Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), adapting its target values to the demands of a globalizing world, intending a developing, innovating, modern Pakistan.

We condemn terrorism in all its forms, bombings, shootings, knifings, hijackings, abductions and mass casualty attacks because they do unjust injury to innocent people and irreparable damage to Islam.

We have to defend our country from all these terrorists and their supporters. We, modern and democracy loving people in Pakistan, request you to support the parties standing for modernity and innovation in Pakistan.

We hope that with your help we will win the war against extremism, Al-Qaida, Taliban and their supporters.

Long Live Pakistan
