We the Undersigned hereby urge the Montgomery Department of Parks and Recreation to provide a space in the Proposed Wheaton Regional Park in which to host the live music and cultural events that have taken place in the Glenallan Area Pool in the summers of 2007, and 2008. We believe that live concerts are a vital part of any area as musically and culturally rich as the Williamsburg and Montgomery communities, and that losing such a unique venue as the Glenallan Area Pool without providing an alternative space would be a huge blow to the musical, cultural and general communities.
