Name: Scottie Taylor on May 9, 2007Comments: The original petition to see her pardoned was just disgusting. Because Mel and Britney didn't get in trouble, Paris shouldn't either. It's typical of the sociolite fan world in general. Their idols can do no wrong and should never be forced to pay for their mistakes. Honestly, I hope the troglodyte gets all 45 days and then some. I think celebrities should be held to the same standards as the rest of us, if not harsher ones. They're "role models", people that for some odd reason some of us seem to look up to. So, yes, to reiterate, give her the maximum penalty along with the rest of her cretinous celebrity ilk. Because you can believe that no normal, non-world famous person would dare to try to petition the governor over a 45 day jail stint when they're clearly guilty. And you can be equally sure that they wouldn't have the resources to pull off this travesty, or to have thousands come to their aid.Flag

Name: Simon Carroll on May 9, 2007Comments: This worthless waste of oxygen needs to be taught that "you can't drive for 3 years" means just that. Doing it while pissed clearly shows her disdain for the law, her and her ilk believe they are above the law of the little people, I beg you to prove her wrong. The silly little slapper has already generated about $10 million worth of free publicity out of this, please allow her to earn it. Lest we forget that this woman is primarily famous for having sex on tape, where I'm from we have a word for that.. If it weren't too much to ask for, if you could arrange to have her visited by a bull-dyke linebacker with a taste for S&M, that'd be fab. Thanks!Flag

Name: Ian McNee on May 9, 2007Comments: It's about time worthless people like this were treated the same way as ordinary people who commit crimes. Maybe after a short vacation at the pleasure of the state she will think again before endangering the lives of others, though Paris Hilton thinking is a bit of an oxymoron...Flag

Name: Andrew G on May 9, 2007Comments: The law does not say that an accident has to occur, DUI alone is sufficent to be convicted of an offence. The driving while disqualified demonstrates that she thinks the law does not apply to her.Flag
