To Whom it May Concern:

We the below are signing this letter of support to show our support of Mr. Imperati, the current gym teacher at JB Sliney School. 

As we understand Mr. Imperati is in jeopardy of losing his full-time position in the Branford School District due to the proposed 2011-2012 Budget.  The Board of Education has recommended a reduction of a full-time gym/health position to a part-time position.  Mr. Imperati was the last gym/health teacher hired in our district and he could be asked to take the part-time position in another school in the district Branford. 

We the undersigned respectfully ask the Board of Finance to reconsider this budget cut of approximately $20,000.  As parents we feel that the prospective loss of Mr. Imperati would be a huge  to our school system.  We know Mr. Imperati as a true leader who consistently goes above and beyond as well as being a fanatastic role model for our children.
