President Obama has infringed on our second amendment rights. If we continue to allow our elected officials to mess with our rights we wont have any left, especially if we let them think its okay. WE THE PEOPLE are the defenders of Democracy. Not the government! Thats why our forefathers gave us the right to be armed, so we could not only live in a Democratic nation but fight for it when we needed to. Right now I think we need to, NYS has already started their bans and now the Federal government is going to announce theirs. We all need to unify as one and prevent this. It doesnt matter if you're a Democrat or a Republican or whatever, this is a Constitutional issue not a party issue. It doesnt matter if you like guns or hate guns it all comes down to the fact that our rights that are being attacked, we cant continue to let this happen. Safety does not come from strict laws and bans, it comes from the person behind the weapon. Educate yourselves people! Your going to continue to give and give until its gone, theres other ways we can go about gun safety. I mean we didnt ban cars from unsafe and safe drivers alike, we started giving out two tests before you were able to drive. Why dont we do the same with guns?  Stop looking for the quick fix, and do the RIGHT fix.
