Name: Mark Mancinelli on Mar 20, 2009Comments: As has been presented in testimony by myself and many others to CPC and Speaker Quinn, this proposal is wasteful, unfair, and ill considered in nearly every respect. Speaker Quinn, who represents this district, has done NOTHING to assist her constituents in rationalizing this proposal in terms of its scale, scope and operations. She has abandoned her community on this problem. The community has presented viable, cost effective alternatives - a presentation unprecedented in thoughtfulness and detail. We urge city politicians to reconsider this reckless adventure. Does the city really have the means to spend a half a billion dollars for a parking garage for sanitation trucks when it has a multi billion dollar budget shortfall Sadly, with Quinn and others, it seems the inmates are running the asylum.Flag
