1) Cut the military budget in half.  Ours is greater than that of all other nations on earth combined, and over 5x the next largest.   The time for global intervention is over.  Plus… we’re really not very good at it.

2) Reduce the size of government.  It has mushroomed under both Democrat and Republican administrations.  We need the public sector… but it needs to behave like the private sector.

3) Term limits for Congressmen and Senators.  The public trough cannot sustain the gluttony and inaction.   Speaking of which, institute Penalties for inaction in both Congress and Senate.

4) Abolish the electoral college.  It made sense 200 years ago to distribute power to remote rural populations.  Now... not so much.

5) Nix the Fed.  Turn the Fed into a public organization mandated to serve the interests of the people, not just those of corporate giants.  Or simply get rid of it.

6) Real proportional taxation.  Because "trickle down" is just a theory.  And yes, the Bush tax cuts should expire.

7) Corporations are not people.  Revoke the 1940's law giving corporations the same freedoms under law as individuals.  Corporations need to be accountable to the people.  After all, the original ruling was an erroneous recording by a court recorder!

8) Up with small business.  Enact laws and provide incentives encouraging the growth of small business.  They do the hiring now.   

 9) Reduce prison populations.  The US has the highest percentage of its population incarcerated in the world.  We need to re-examine the grounds for imprisonment in this country.

10) Outlaw assault weapons for sale to the public.  The second amendment was a holdover from an old British law allowing a vanquisher people to keep their muskets.
