Comments: Animal abuse such as this cannot be tolerated in our society. Scientific studies have shown that it is only a short jump from animal abuse, to abusing other people.

Comments: Animal "ABUSERS" should be prosecuted to the fullest extent; no leniency nor plea deals should be given. Animals do no have a voice to call for help. They are tortured and maimed by individuals that enjoy seeing pain. It's time to stop these individuals by showing them that they won't be treated lightly with a slap on the wrist.

Comments: until our society makes some MAJOR changes, children and animals will continue to be "property" of the "owner/parent" . They have no rights or say in the horrible conditions they are found - they are continually given back to these scumbag parents, families and individuals. It is sickening.

Comments: There needs to be harsher punishments for crimes on animals. This beautiful dog looked up to him for love, support, guidence, shelter and comfort. Can you only imagine what was going through her mind as her care-giver was putting her through so much pain? She didn't understand why he was doing this to her. It's sickening to think this man is allowed to still own other animals.

Comments: As responsible rescue pet owners, my spouse and I are always horrified to hear stories like this one. There is a very special place in the afterlife for people who abuse those too vulnerable to defend themselves. Harsher penalties now!
