As a responsible pet owner, I am outraged at the actions of Randal Hart who viciously slit his dog's throat and left her to die. I am also sickened that his friend knew about this horrific incident and did not report it. It is wrong that Randal Hart's bail was set at only $5000 and there are still animals on his property.

As concerned citizens, we are asking that you pursue this case to the fullest extent of the law and make Randal Hart accountable for what he has done. Once justice has been served, we ask that our community becomes a front-runner for animal rights. Please send the message that we will not tolerate animal abusers in our community and there will be severe punishment for those who commit heinous acts upon innocent animals.

Please give Randal Hart the maximum sentence with no plea bargain.
