Comments: I live in Indiana and receive calls from a correctional center in Illinois ,I am being charged $30.65 for 30 minutes. I can not afford to talk any more than 2 or 3 times a month. I was told by the Attroney General in Illinois and Indiana that they were perfectly in theri right to charge me those fees. Either I pay it or not talk.

Comments: For the last 20 years, I have been paying the outragious prices in order to receive phone calls from my son. It's time for IDOC to quit supporting this highway robbery and begin trying to help the inmates who want to stay in touch with their families.

Comments: This petition is long overdue. I fought hard to do something about the unneccesary and irate charges of Consolidated Communications a long time ago. This is before IDOC stopped me from my prison ministry. Keep up the good work!

Comments: Prisoners are also sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, wives, husbands, etc. It is important that they be allowed to communicate with family members. It is criminal that people can now make free long distance calls from home or mobile phones that prisons have been robbing these families.

Comments: It is unfair for the penial system to get rich from other people's misfortune. Also, why would anyone want to work on rehabilitation when someone can potenitally make millions from putting people in jail.
