Hello Folks: We've now collected more than 1,000 signatures on the petition. We need more signatures before we submit this to the Governor and state representatives. Many of you are emailing your state reps with the internet address of this petition. Hopefully they will visit here and read the comments. I don't think State reps and other politicians view inmates and their family members as much of a voting block. Our opinions are usually glossed over. I hope that we will collect enough signatures to get the point across that there are many voters affected by the revocation of good time and that will equate to a loss of votes for them. Please continue to circulate the petition link to your contacts. Post on your websites, facebooks, myspace pages, etc. The response has been tremendous so far.... Good Job, Admins/Illinois Prison Talk
