The sponsors of this petition are a group of concerned parents in Chicago. We are an ad hoc group bound together by a desire to take action on behalf of public schools across Illinois. We plan to deliver this petition to Governor Blagojevich in late June, 2004. The co-chairs of our group are Lissa Oliver (lissao@earthlink.net), Tamra Nelson and Faith Spencer (markandfaith@earthlink.net).
