St. Louis Desperately Seeks an Ikea of Its Own

Dear The Powers that Be at IKEA,
For years, we have taken the highway east and trekked hours to Schaumburg and Bolingbroke to shop your store. We devour the Swedish meatballs at the restaurant, and slurp ice cream cones before coming back. We get lost on every floor and always buy considerably more than we planned. And we never complain.
But now we say, enough already. Please, the time has come for you to open your doors in St. Louis. The choices for a location are numerous and, really, anywhere in the area would be fine with us. We'd even be happy to help you find the proper site. We'd be delighted to do whatever we can to bring you to our wonderful city.
Please take our petition and hear our plea.
St. Louis is desperately seeking an Ikea all of aits own.
