Comments: I am severely allergic to the chemical substances in perfumes and can only wear natural scents, I also actually enjoy being able to make my own blended scents and soaps. We are just going into a world of nothing but chemicals, some of us actually preffer what nature brings, not the governments appear to care. Chemical manufacturing and dollars apparently are of ore concern then our health or our environment!

Comments: Why are industrialized countries so opposed to anything natural I have heard arguments about the allergic potential of these substances but what a poor excuse. What next shall we regulate Bees, peanuts As an American with regular experience with the pharmaceutical industry and lobbying effort in this country, I know that it simply boils down to the dollar. Unfortunatley for governments, there is very little taxing ability in the world of natural substances. What a shame we have become.

Comments: anything in excess or used improperly can be potentially harmful. This is beyond the call of regulation and impedes the freedom the we all crave. It will inevitably use mounds of money for all the studies it will take and all the red tape it will involve when, in fact, the issue is getting blown all out of proportion. Please reconsider the necessity of this move.

Comments: Another case of a regulatory agency going too far. I also strongly suspect that some big corporations are putting on the pressure to get this amendment passed for their own selfish reasons.

Comments: While I am in favor of protecting consumers from universally harmful ingredients, these are not universally harmful ingredients. This amendment would make it nearly impossilbe to legally use ingredients that have been safely and beneficially used for generations. Can they be harmful if used improperly Yes, but so can most legal household products and any food to which someone, somewhere is allergic (which is every food there is!). If there is a genuine concern, then let's pass legislation to label clearly and educate people so that they can make informed decisions and use these ingredients safely.

Comments: To whom it may concern, I am writing you to let you know that if you allow this to go through then you are more less shoving conventional mediciine down our throats. This is not "FREEDOM" of choice. This country is becoming more and more like the Soviet Union each day. Please make this horror come to a stop. I choose holistic healing because of my beliefs. Please, I am begging you to reconsider this dramatic decision. Thank you, Tami Apple
