Name: LIC Resident on May 21, 2009Comments: The LIRR reasons for doing this are unconvincing. They are severely disturbing the quality of life by never turning off diesel engines in the middle of a NYC residential neighborhood. Also, with environmental and energy issues at critical stages, it is unbelievable that they can try to justify the pollution and waste of diesel to just let engines constantly run.Flag
