In light of the recent Colorado shootings, there should be a government Database for regestered guns, that can be acsessed by searching the name from a ligal ID. This way gun shops can be able to tell if a current costomer has recently purchases a large amount of wepondry from other shops. Thus destroying the ability to buy multiple wepons from different gun shops, because you must be 18 to buy a gun people would natural be asked to show valid ID, from there they would simply need to type the name into the webesite and log what guns are being purchased. Nothing more would be asked for, and the government could monitor said site and make sure there is no suspicious buying from one person.
