Alameda Health Care System ICU staff, needs to have a station CNA. Especially on the PM's shift, where the Day shift and Night shift can have assistance with; turning patients, changing, cleaning, transporting patients,stocking supplies and making bed rolls. Our staff is having reoccuring back injuries, because most of the patients are on the obese size. As you know most ICU patient are bedridden, and when the staff nurse is pulled to assist another nurse. This causes patient care to decrease. We recommend Collete Degaud, who was hire to work in ICU the first place. She's experience with the ICU protocal for CNA duties.
