Madonna's Fan Club, know as Icon, has experienced many problems over this last year. Many member features such as mailbox usage, member information, and general board usage are inaccessible, not moderated properly or not available the majority of the time. These problems have been addressed insufficiently or not at all when they arise. We, Icon fan club members, have attempted to contact Johann (the moderator) SparkArt (the parent company) Liz Rosenberg (Madonna's PR) and several others sources to resolve these issues with little to no success over the past year. The majority of our correspondences have been ignored or addressed insufficiently. In the last week, starting August 20 of 2008, the boards are relatively non-functioning. It takes members up to 30 minutes to post new threads, or replies to threads, only to find out thier post have been duplicated several times over or they are continually booted out of the site. Furthermore, these duplicated threads are neither consolidated nor erased by the Administrator of the boards. Furthermore, many members are still experiencing problems with their mailboxes not working, profile pictures not being displayed, member information being wiped clean, etc. Icon has been contacted by these individuals with either no response or a curt, cookie-cutter response saying their issue is being looked into. Again, these issues remain unresolved. It is for this reason this petition has been drafted: We, the current and former members of Icon, want these issues addressed in a timely and orderly fashion. We love our fan club community and Madonna herself. Please keep this forum in working order out of respect for her and us.
