Comments: I have been a skater for the last 21 years, i am a very stonger believer in encouaging our young people to take part in other sports not found within schools. Since dancing on ice programme i have found that in my local ice rink has seen an increase in young people wanting to learn to skate. I fel that the more ice rinks we open the more young people we can encourage to get fit and experince the wonder that it is ice skating

Comments: Back in the 60s/70s I not only trained at Bths Westover Ice rink but it was also very important socially. I was also in the ice follies.I never once saw any trouble and it was great place to meet up. It certainly kept me of the streets and gave me a purpose. The old rink is still empty so come on council what are you waiting for, we need a proper rink it would be a great asset to the town.

Comments: This would be a boost to the kids of bournemouth and Poole, you see so much on the news about kids not having much to do. You never know it may produce an olimpic champion.

Comments: An ice-rink would be a superb facility and in my opinion is a much needed resource! It would be enormously popular, especially with the students of Bournemouth university and it would no doubt produce a large revenue stream for the town!

Comments: There are so many people here in Bournemouth that want our ice rink back including myself. I have a whole family of seven that would use this facility and would use it regularly. Please please bring our entertainment back.It would get everyones healthy living back instead of playing games in front of a box

Comments: i am a single parent of a15 years old daughter who has had a passion for iceskating throughout her childhood, this has not only been just a good sport for her but also helped in keeping herself focus and active, giving her a safe environment to socialise with others of the same interest and passion and i really would not like to think what might happen to those youngster's minds and spirits if they were depraved of such an interest in their lives which they dedicate most of their time, motivated for achievements of total dedication in this unique opportunity to represent themselves as such an exemple for the future of this country. Thank you for your consideration on the above mentioned. Kind regards, B. Sfedj
