The owner of Ice Breakers has decided to add $3.00 additional to the entry fee for the weekly Friday and Saturday night tournaments. This $3.00 is going towards greens fees, not the tournament pot. The reason this was added was because a FEW people complained about having to pay for pool time before the tournament. Therefore, the $3.00 was added as greens fees to allow the players that entered the tournament to practice for free before the tournament started as well as having an open table to play on for free throughout the duration of the tournament.
The extra $3.00 charge for greens fees should be removed for two reasons. One, most players don't practice before the tournament. Two, there is almost never an open table to pratice on during the tournament. Therefore, it is unfair to charge all players the additional $3.00 for greens fees because they are unable to utilize the benefits of the extra $3.00
This petition is to either remove the $3.00 charge to the weekly Friday and Saturday night tournaments or for that $3.00 charge to be put into the tournament pot.
