In the spirit of continuous improvement and a harmonious IAA Baseball program we, as representatives of the Concerned Members of IAA Baseball, are highlighting some core issues which have come to the forefront over the past several months.

Our goal is straightforward: to help ensure that IAA Baseball is adhering to the tenets set forth by Little League Baseball. Hence, all of the issues are strictly matters of governance. In order for our league to become compliant with the requirements of Little League International we ask that the following steps be taken by the current IAA leadership with the proper oversight by Little League from the NY District 4 and/or Eastern Regional level.

1. Release a copy of the most recent constitution for IAA Little League to the general membership of the league.
2. Nominate a list of board candidates for the 2012-13 year from a bipartisan committee of current board members and membership volunteers.
3. Define voting eligibility requirements in accordance with current Little League standards.
4. Hold a general membership meeting for the purpose of electing new board members for the 2012-13 year in accordance to current Little League standards.
5. Submit a report of the financial status of the league to the general membership for the past 7 years.
6. Once the 2013 board has been elected and the executive committee’s positions have been assigned, draft a new constitution in accordance with current Little League standards.
7. Ratify the constitution by majority vote of eligible voting membership of the league.
