Comments: stop the use of barges and dump trucks at the LBR i am sure you can come up with a better plan than destroying a ramp that was desperately needed in this area for a long time. It was built for the boaters and fishermen of this area, not for dump trucks. It is already overwhelmed each season

Comments: Not a good idea. To think that the frequency of the dump trucks at the spoils site will not interfere with citizens wishing to launch and retrieve their watercraft is ludicrous. Taking dredging materials from polluted areas of the Lynnhaven river will wreck havoc on the fragile efforts to renew the oysters in the river.

Comments: I'm very disturbed about this proposal. Not only is it one of my favorite recreational spots, but it's also an environmentally sensitive area. Please do not use this area for a dredge spoils transfer site.

Comments: We come to Sandbridge in the summer and spend up to 10 weeks camping out there and drive all the way across town several days a week to launch at the LBR. We love it and don't want to go anywhere else.

Comments: I am surprised and dismayed that the Virginia Beach Public Works Dept & City Council continue to consider the over crowded and getting more crowded area of Shore Drive and the Lesner Bridge for more projects. This will only provide more congestion and problems for the residents who live in the area there as well as the visitors from the city and other Hampton Roads areas who use this for recreation. There are few enough areas of parking and access to the water for the majority of the residents in VA Beach. Please do not use this site and create such a messy affair.

Comments: I DONT THINK ITS FAIR THAT I PAY FOR USE OF THIS BOAT RAMP AND THAT I WILL HAVE TO SHARE IT WITH A GOVERNMENT ENTITY FOR THEIR DREDGING SPOILS. THIS IS GOING TO BE ANOTHER WAY THAT DEVELOPEMENT TAKES SOMETHING ELSE AWAY FROM US FOLKS WHO PAY THEIR TAXES AFTER WORKING HARD ALL WEEK. THIS IS THE THANKS WE GET
