   Comments: Put the public back in public school; education is a right, not a privilege, yet shutting down the public schools in more impoverished areas sends the clear message that education--within this classist system--is only for the privileged (they can afford private schools, and they have local public schools to fall back on). Any board who takes such a clear anti-humanitarian stance towards any community (e.g. through shutting down their schools) should be locked up for the lives they are destroying.
