The City Council finally approved the Highland House zoning change. We forced the city to stop stalling and start prioritizing actual progress for Preston Center. We won this fight despite the greedy status quo trying to block us at every turn.

Final supporters
I believe that Highland House is an appropriate residential project in an appropriate location. It is important to bring people and a 24/7 presence to Preston Center. It is important that these people be located within Preston Center and be able to walk to all the wonderful amenities that Preston Center has to offer.
I urge you to support the change in zoning requested by the developer of the Highland House project at City Plan Commission and before the Dallas City Council.

The momentum behind this petition is undeniable and the City Council can no longer pretend we are a fringe group. They need to stop stalling and approve the Highland House zoning change immediately because this neighborhood is finished waiting for their excuses.

YES. walkability is exactly what this area is missing. getting tired of the traffic just to grab coffee.
this is going to be so much better than what is there now. PLEASE approve this already!!
Finally some real progress. hope they get started soon.
Long overdue. this will finally bring some life to the neighborhood in the evenings.
Total no brainer. we need more housing right here where everything is already built.
