5 AdriennePrinceCAUSWell, in the spirit of free market economics, let's say 30 rooms makes sense if the maids are paid $20/hour. That should work!
6 MaryPardoCAUSI fully support the effort for workers rights. Keep me on the list.

9 LoreeCamposCAUSI am an independent film maker and a member of NALIP, the National Association of Latino Independent Producers. We are having our 7th annual conference at the Long Beach Hyatt. I am alarmed at the working conditions that are being imposed on these housekeepers. If this has been placed in effect in San Diego how long will it be until this becomes the Hyatt standard? I will be forwarding this to Nalip, for it is cause for concern.

11 SarieBrysonCAUSKeep up the good fight. Only the housekeepers themselves can know and therefore should determine how many rooms they can comfortably clean per hour, per day.

15 LynneMooreCAUSPlease treat your staff, including housekeepers, humanely. Please do not put their health at risk. Sixteen rooms is a lot to clean in one day. Please do not pressure them to exceed that. Think of your guests, too. I would not want to stay in a hotel where each worker is expected to clean more than 16 rooms. I would rather stay in a hotel where the workers have the time to take pride in their work and truly clean the rooms, rather than one in which workers are pressured by a deadline to do the bare minimum to make a room appear clean. Please be fair to workers and provide a good experience for your guests at the same time. I do not want to stay at a hotel where people are at risk of injury preparing the room for me and my family. Nor do I want to support employers who oppress their workers. We travel often and I keep employee in mind when making reservations.

23 AnonymousAnonymousCAUSPlease do not give out my e-mail. I get way too much spam and waste a lot of time reading it. I support the workers in their quest for justice.
24 GerardoLiconCAUSHousekeepers are human beings who work as fast as they can. Expecting greater productivity without a lessening of responsibilities is inhumane and unjust.

34 DoreenGholamCAUSI ask the Hyatt management to consider the reasonable demand of the housekeepers. You should also consider the quality of a 10 min. cleaning in a hotel as exclusive as yours. How is that affecting the Merit scores?? Former Executive Housekeeper Thank you
