Comments: The clock must be returned to it's rightful place. To place it somewhere else would show a complete lack of respect to the brave young men of Edinburgh who made the ultimate sacrifice. Do the right thing.

Comments: I had no idea this was proposed and the thought appals me. It serves no purpose to hide away a fitting monument to bravery, selflessness and the futility of war. It is an example of the dissolving of community and should be resisted.

Comments: This historic war memorial should never have been dismantled for the tram system, which has been a farce from day 1. Edinburgh Council should be ashamed of the way they have and are vandalising our great city to replace a perfectly good bus service with a white elephant tram system that nobody wanted and ensure that The Hearts War Memorial is returned to its rightful location at Haymarket!

Comments: This memorial IS an integral part of the Haymarket. I worked over three years in Edinburgh, travelled from Kirkcaldy arriving each morning at Haymarket station. Since leaving Scotland, any time I return I get of at Haymarket & never tire of seeing this magnificent pice of sculpture. Shame on ANYONE to consider relocating it from this area.

Comments: Having recently visited Edinburgh, arriving at Haymarket Station I was very disappointed to see that the memorial had 'disappeared'. As someone who used to live in Edinburgh and pass it on the way to work every day I am disheartened to hear this is a permanent move. To me the memorial is a landmark just as important as the Scott Monument or the Castle. Please put it back where it belongs.
