Name: Old School on Jul 13, 2007Comments: There really is no hypothysizable reason why the University should change this music. If you consult the ancient scriptures you will learn that good things come to those who wait. My contacts are better than yours, and these people, who I know very well, are telling me that there will be no change in the music selection this year or next year. Why exactly do you think it should be changed You don't want to get to a debate with me on this. I AM IN I.T. I will data mine this bitch and find out the email addresses and home addresses of everyone in this piece. Then, I will challenge you to a tennis match (you don't mind if I wear sweat pants, do you). Winner chooses the music.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jul 14, 2007Comments: Don't get me wrong, I love the songs like "Thunderstruck," but we have too many 90's songs that utilize a synthesizer. I would like to hear more of a mix of traditional collegiate songs and classic rock songs that pump up a crowd. Also the speakers need to be a little louder. I remember before work began on the most recent stadium renovations, Memorial Stadium used to almost shake because the music was so loud. Now it's almost like it gets loud and then cuts out and gets quiet. Keep the intro and the music when the black shirts first come on the field, but we need something different.Flag

Name: Paul Piskorski on Jul 14, 2007Comments: Stop trying to be so "creative" with tying in the lyrics or song title to what is happening on the field. What gets people going is a solid, up-tempo beat, not lyrics that might make them think "Oh that's clever. We're about to start up the game, so they're playing 'Start Me Up.'" Go to an Iowa State game for a perfect example of a rockin' crowd. Also, the Cornhusker Marching Band needs to update their song library. Sorry, but "Hey, Baby" makes people sit down and deflates the entire stadium every time it's played.Flag

Huskervision has fallen into the grasps of the "Husker Nation". Something that was made up, in order to unify husker fans. Guess what, we don't need that. Get on board with the fans.Flag
