Name: Janet R. Love on Jul 13, 2007Comments: Please update the music. Despite growing up in the '70's, the music at Memorial stadium is terrible. I can almost predict what songs will be played every game. And most of them are not song the players or recruits would ever listen to. So you're doing a diservice to them imho to play music which turns them off and it's embarassing to the rest of us who understand this. To the older crowd over 60, I'm sure they don't like it much either. Here's a thought: why don't you stop pushing so much retread music and allow our awesome band to actually get some time to play I know most fans are upset that we never get to hear them other than at half time. I have been attending games since I was 5 back in 1969. Those were fun days because the band was such an important part of the gameday atmosphere. Now you've turned it into one big corporate sponsorship drive. And how embarassing is it that you actually have to tell the crowd over the PA "hey Husker fans, turn your attention to the Huskervision screens" What a joke! You treat the crowd as if we're all a bunch of 5 years with little attention span. Frankly, Huskervision has turned Husker Day into one long boring session of stupid trivial games and corporate sponsorship ads. Everyone is sick of this, trust me. If I hear you guys play "Jessie's Girl" one more time, I'm going to puke my insides out. I hated that song when I was in HS. And it's even worse now. Please change the format before it's too late!!!!! Suggestions: Black Eyed Peas, Evanescence, Hinder, Foo Fighters, Nickleback, Linkin Park, and eventhough I hate Rap, play some of it that isn't rated R. the recruits dig this stuff. I can live with it if it helps land recruits. afterall, that's more important than helping some of us relive our HS days, rightFlag

Name: John Gloe on Jul 13, 2007Comments: It's embarassing. I know you know it is too. Please update the selections. For example, "Who let the dogs out" was never cool- ever. Please try harder to use more modern music to not perpetuate the stereotype of Nebraskans as "behind the times."Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jul 13, 2007Comments: The improvements made in the Cornhusker program have been EXACTLY what was needed...all except the music (and production) of in-game activities. The recorded music NEEDS to change (ie, modernize) as does the product that the once proud NU Band produces (or more to point, fails to produce). Please change these things and add the icing to the already impressive cake...Flag

Name: Thunderstruck Husker on Jul 13, 2007Comments: This is the greatest thing since I had my grass root effort to change the Tunnel Walk song to Thunderstruck. Me & my cohorts collected over 10,000 signatures outside the gates of Memorial Stadium during the fall of 2005. Some of you might remember us and/or signed the petition along with the strains of THunderstruck from our boom boxes. If this site takes off we might go ahead and start again with our petition. Good luck Thunderstruck HuskerFlag

Name: Tunagill on Jul 13, 2007Comments: Why should the music be changed Do you think it is right for a property owner to choose what they want Shouldn't the University be able to choose exactly what music they play Why are you complaining. If you don't like it, start you own University and play your own music. And do you think gas station owners are gouging their customers Why shouldn't a business owner be able to decide exactly how much they sell their product for If you don't like it, go down the street. Does anyone have the testing numbers for S&CFlag
