Texans love to hunt and it is one of our basic and most practiced freedoms. Texans that have various felony's are denied the right to hunt and carry a shotgun or rifle outside of there house. This petition is for the right to allow hunters, after ten years out of confinement, or parole to be aloud to take a rifle or shotgun to hunt.. Not to be able to have a concealed handgun license. This petition is strictly for hunting. Only rifles, shotguns will be permitted under this. This does not grant access for a CHL license from the state of Texas. But allows the use and carry of a legal rifle or shotgun for hunting purposes only.
