Name: Martha R. Mitchell on Jan 22, 2013Comments: My parents lived in Ellijay, Ga for years on top of a mountain. They had several "experiences" with the "Big Fellow" as my dad would say and they are harmless, but if confronted with a gun they will protect themselves - (ex: throwing rocks, tree limbs, dung, etc.) They would come down to the spring and drink, hunt the deer around the area and were in love with Mom's apple and peach trees. Loved her Raspberry patches too. They keep the bears away from the fruit. Years later, they had to move down here with me but really missed the area and the "population" of his friends with hair.Flag
