Name: Viktorya on Nov 16, 2008Comments: Are you kidding me. Shelters are a safe haven; a place people trust that dogs/cats etc. have a second chance. It is a fact that overpopulation causes shelters to euthanize. Why- in this day in age must we be like cave men. The public wanted pets; pets they got! It is up to public to now at least let them die without pain. SHeesh. What kind of barbarians are we anyway This sickens me- I think that those that oppose a painless death should have to do the chamber duty for a few days. Listen to the cries. I think opinions would change very quickly. veryFlag

Name: Darlene Fox on Mar 20, 2009Comments: we are no better individually or as a nation than the laws in which we live by. if we are not responsible enough to control the pet population, then who are we to inflict a cruel and painful death amongst the homeless pets which we allow to be needlessly brought into this world like charity, compassion and common sense begin at home. please consider mandatory spay/neuter laws and humane euthanasia as the only option when it comes to pet ownership and the unfortunate effects of irresponsible pet ownership.Flag

Name: Lorie Abbott on Nov 22, 2009Comments: It is bad enough that due to irresponsible pet ownership and inadequate/ineffective laws that so many adoptable pets are euthanized, but for them to be euthanized by inhumane methods is a crime... even if the current laws have not caught up to the fact of making it a crime.Flag
