I support mountain biking in Hubbard Park. This will be a great addition to the current activities taking place in our beloved park. I also recognize that there are numerous other user groups that are currently using the park for their enjoyment. The expansion of access for mountain biking should never come at the expense of someone else.

I respectfully request that upon the expansion of mountain biking in Hubbard that the parks commission agree that any conflicts that arise from the increased use of the park due to mountain biking result in the reduction of mountain biking or the formulation of a plan so that no other activity ever be curtailed for our use. It is in the best interest of the Montpelier community and the best interest in the continued expansion of our sport that we not be the cause of someone else losing their ability to enjoy the outdoors in the way they choose.
