Dear Hale Center Theater Orem,

First off, let us say that we love your shows. We love attending them and we love participating in them. We hope that you will keep doing what you are doing for many years to come.

As you can surely imagine, auditioning for shows, no matter where, is a stressful experience for performers. Often the most stressful time comes after the actual audition, having to wait to hear about callbacks and casting decisions. As it currently stands, those who are called back or cast receive emails, while those who are not called back or cast receive no notification. This leaves people wondering whether or not they simply haven’t received an email yet, or are not going to receive one.

At the Hale Center Theater in West Valley, they post both the list of callbacks and the list of the final cast on their website, and this ensures that there is no ambiguity about the timing of these decisions. As the Hale Center Theater Orem already has an excellent website that is updated regularly, we respectively request that a similar process be adopted.

Many of the undersigned would gladly take on this responsibly on a volunteer basis if needs be.
