Hope Summit Congregational Meeting

Article IV Section II of the Hope Summit Christian Church By-Laws states the following: A congregational meeting may be called by the Chairman of the Elders to discuss concerns or issues pertinent to the church body. This meeting may also be called when petitioned and approved by the Elders or when the petition represents a majority of the active members of the church. This petition is to request a congregational meeting to discuss the request for Aaron Wager's resignation.

    6 years ago Comments: In this time of economic turmoil, and uncertain job futures, the elders think it is a good idea to fire our spiritual leader Without discussing it with the people whom the decision will affect most I think the congregation requires an explanation. I freely admit I do not know all the details behind this decision, and it may end up being for the good, I simply do not know. This is why I believe the elders need to display the maturity they expect from us and stand up to answer for what they did for "our" benefit.
