The purpose of this petition is to gather support for the responsible development of the Highlands Ranch Community Association owned open spaces that are already zoned for limited active recreation, public and education uses. By signing this petition, members of the community are indicating a show of support for the already approved and implemented Open Space Conservation Area (OCSCA) Plan. The proposed Colorado Christian University 100 acre site is part of the OSCA plan. Show your support for this part of the plan by signing this petition. Also located on the HRCA web pages are information regarding the development of the 1,200 acres within the BackCountry Wilderness area that has already been approved, including a 202 acre regional park to be owned and operated by Douglas County. These amenities benefit ALL Highlands Ranch and Douglas County residents. Do not let the vocal minority sway the silent majority on this important issue that will affect our quality of life. The Silent Majority has to get out and show their support so that the HRCA delegates KNOW they are making the RIGHT decision to vote YES for this proposal.
