Comments: I think any mother or Family member to send thier Son and Daughter a Care package should have thier postage reduced. They are there laying thier Life on the line for us, Least we can do is give them a touch of Home.

Comments: I'm the one who had him and the government is the one who owns him, at least when I took care of him I did what was expected. $9/week is not too much to ask for morale or for necessitites needed. But really....what would I know...I'm ONLY the mom, you know the one who had him.

Comments: As the mother of a former sailor, and the aunt of a soldier, I fully support the passing of HR 1585, and I hope you will vote for its' passage. There were many times that I would have loved to send my son and nephew a care package, but I never seemed to have enough money. PLEASE support our troops!

Comments: I think it is a shame that our government can not even supply our military personnel with the BASIC needs, such as sox, baby wipes, personal hygiene items, etc. The least they can do is make it affordable for families to send care packages to their loved ones.
