Name: Anne G. Landau on Jun 11, 2007Comments: I think it's outrageous that our care packages have to include the necessities of life....the military should be treating our kids so much better than they do...I should be sending 'luxury' items, special treats not deodorant, socks & toothbrushes......stop buying $1,000 toilet seats and send my son some socks!!! Oh and by the way send some of the members of Congress over there...if they had to go sleep in the sand I wonder how long it would take to solve this problem and bring our kids home (Out of over 500 congress members only one has a child in the military)Flag

Name: Alma Helton on Jun 11, 2007Comments: Soldiers will love this:-) When I used to be stationed in Korea, I couldn't wait to received packages from my parents. I even used to buy stuff online just so I could receive something from the mail. I know its different for Soldier's in the field. Receiving packages will reinforce and assure the soldier that they haven't been forgotten and that people in the states care about them. This will keep them strong. This will motivate the soldier. Great Job!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jun 11, 2007Comments: Please believe you when we moms say that the postman is our sons/daughters best friend. My son is a US Navy Seabee and he loves to get cookies, socks, underwear, sheets, deoderant, the list goes on and on, from home. Our Legion Auxiliary also sends out in support of my son. I encourage this bill to go through. Thank you for your time. My son is doing what he is doing, so you can do right now what you are doing. So please make it easier for me to share his home with him through the mailFlag
