To whom it may concern: As a recent graduate of Texas A&M University, the thriving lifestyle for young professionals in Houston is one that I find extremely appealing. Houston is a city boundless in experience and the opportunities there seem to peek around each corner. Unfortunately, those corners are incredibly hard to reach by way of current transportation. Although not currently residing in the city, through past experiences and hearsay, the traffic problem in Houston is undeniable. The transportation system begs for a solution, and that solution is achievable. Houston is in critical need of an underground metro plan. There are many benefits to such a plan, including a decrease in traffic, pollution, the necessity for parking, and inconvenience. Houston is notorious for its failure to appease these problems. Although cost is a vital issue, Houston's current economic state in addition to citizens paying a just fare for the use of the transportation would diminish the cost. I implore you to take a look, if you have not already, into this viable solution for the monstrous transportation problem that is beginning to overshadow Houston's perks. A metro is not only possible but necessary. I hope that with this petition, you understand this necessity for a convenient and inexpensive mode of transportation in the Houston area. Sincerely, A concerned prospective citizen
